Description
This workshop will offer an opportunity for participants to think through a trauma assessment lens, applicable to their work. Key clinical issues in trauma assessment will be identified. The role of psychometric measures, collateral information, previous diagnoses, and child interviews will be defined. Types of trauma assessments will be presented, reviewed and discussed in term of applicability in various settings.

Who Should Attend This course is recommended for anyone that is involved in the assessment and treatment of trauma in children and adolescents. This may include mental health professionals, psychotherapists, counselors, and social workers. Practitioners at all levels are welcome.
