Supporting racialized communities in addressing intergenerational transmission of trauma (ITT) and learning strategies to break certain cycles is an important step in rebuilding these communities and supporting expecting parents and families with children. Educating professionals and communities to better mental health and health outcomes among these racialized groups is a way to strengthen bonds and family structures.
