This interactive training equips practitioners with practical, evidence-informed tools for conducting trauma assessments and delivering responsive treatment for communities facing barriers due to systemic discrimination. Grounded in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive frameworks, participants will explore how systemic trauma, racialization, and displacement impact mental health and learn to adapt standard modalities such as CBT through a culturally responsive lens. Real-world case examples, reflection exercises, and tools for self-assessment will support frontline workers in delivering equitable and effective trauma care.
