Responding to Indigenous Crisis and De-escalation
Responding to Indigenous Crisis & De-escalation is a practical, trauma‑informed training for frontline workers across health, social services, education, justice, and community sectors. Participants will learn how crisis may show up for Indigenous people, how colonial history continues to affect trust and safety, and how to respond with respect and cultural awareness. The training offers practical de-escalation tools grounded in Indigenous teachings, helping staff support calm, safety, and dignity during crisis situations.

October 22 & 23, 2026, 1:00pm – 4:00pm ET
This is a 6-hour training. This course consists of two 3-hour interactive virtual sessions using Zoom.
